Dr. Sukh Bhatti, D.C
Chiropractor, Acupuncture Provider
Dr. Sukh Bhatti is an evidenced based chiropractor who has always been motivated to assist others in reaching their health and wellness goals. He began his journey at York University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He then went on further to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where he also gained certification in Functional Integrated Acupuncture.
Dr. Sukh has also played an active role within the community and has been a part of the healthcare team at Rexdale Community Health Centre, where he worked alongside medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and counselors to provide care to wide variety of patients. He has always had an individualized approach to care which has significantly helped to improve his patients function, and overall well-being.
Dr. Frank Baliko, Hons. B.Sc., D.C.
Chiropractor and Clinic Owner
Dr. Baliko’s professional journey reflects his dedication to the well-being of his patients and his commitment to continuous learning and skill development. His education and training have laid the foundation for his specialized focus on treating patients with bone, joint, and soft tissue injuries.
Graduating with Honours from the New York Chiropractic College in 2007, Dr. Baliko holds certifications in both Ontario and the United States. His registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and memberships in the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) demonstrate his adherence to professional standards and ongoing involvement in the chiropractic community.
Dr. Baliko’s treatment approach combines traditional chiropractic techniques with deep tissue therapies including Active Release Technique (Spine, Upper Body, and Lower Body) and Graston Technique (GT). Dr. Baliko is committed to collaborating with his fellow health care professionals to create a truly integrated, diverse and effective program of care for his patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Baliko maintains a healthy and active lifestyle, participating in activities such as bike riding, hiking, fishing, and playing golf. Dr. Baliko is a dedicated fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and he enjoys attending games at the Roger’s Center.
With a well-rounded approach to patient care and a genuine passion for an active and healthy life, Dr. Baliko strives to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of those he treats.
Miriam Zajic, PT
Physiotherapist
Miriam earned her Physiotherapy Degree from University of Toronto in 1994. She started her physiotherapy vocation in St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto in 1994 working in neurology, ICU, orthopedics and general medicine. She has taken post graduate courses in manual therapy, manual chest therapy, McKenzie A,B,C,D,E, Neurological Dysfunctions, Mulligan Concepts, myofascial release, to name a few.
She moved to Brampton in 1995, and she has been serving Brampton residents since 1996. She has experience working in both private clinics and hospital settings, delivering primarily outpatient physiotherapy care. She worked at the Brampton civic hospital for 14 years as an outpatient physiotherapist, and in the fracture clinic working with orthopedic surgeons to rehabilitate patients after surgeries.
Miriam has assessed and treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions including post traumatic and post surgical injuries such as ACL injuries, hip replacements and rotator cuff tears. Miriam also has a strong focus on postural education and correction, injury prevention, functional recovery, and retraining muscle imbalances.
Shehraj Sandhu, PT
Physiotherapist
Shehraj graduated from Brunel University London with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy. His commitment to evidence-based practice ensures that the treatments provided are grounded in the latest research, to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients. He believes that every person’s situation is unique, and thus believes in a personalized approach in creating a treatment plan to help his patients achieve their goals. Shehraj believes that patients should be active participants in their recovery. He is committed to guiding, teaching, and providing the tools needed for patients to not only recover, but also understand their condition and know what they must do after recovery to maintain their overall wellbeing going forwards.
Before heading to the United Kingdom to study physiotherapy, Shehraj earned a Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from York University, which gave him a strong foundation and knowledge of the underlying biological processes that affect recovery. Prior to joining Dusk Physiotherapy, Shehraj gained valuable experience at Altum Health for University Health Network, Canada’s largest hospital network, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while working alongside a large team of healthcare professionals such as medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractors, psychologists, and registered kinesiologist to provide comprehensive care for complex conditions.
Shehraj is also Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) Certified, enabling him to assess and evaluate an individual’s ability to perform work-related tasks, helping patients return to their jobs and daily lives with confidence.
Amanda Breeze, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Amanda Breeze’s journey into massage therapy reflects her deep-rooted fascination with human anatomy and her unwavering commitment to healthcare. Graduating with honors from triOS College, specializing in Massage Therapy, she has honed her skills to become a proficient therapist.
Her dedication to serving within the healthcare system is evident from her diverse work experiences, spanning rehabilitation, family practitioners, and physiotherapy clinics. Additionally, her volunteer work with community outreach programs, particularly those dedicated to treating patients with Parkinson’s disease, showcases her altruistic nature and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Amanda’s approach to patient care is characterized by her holistic outlook, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. She prioritizes patient well-being and employs a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, joint mobilization, and trigger point therapy, to address pain management and dysfunction comprehensively.
As an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Therapists’ Association of Ontario, Amanda remains committed to upholding professional standards and continuing her professional development. Her dedication to her craft and her patients is evident in her ongoing pursuit of excellence in massage therapy.
