Direct Billing to Insurance
Extended Health Care Benefits
Patients often have Extended Health Care (EHC) insurance through their employer and in most cases, we can submit your claim directly to your insurance provider allowing payments to be made to the clinic directly. Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy services as well as orthopaedic products such as bracing, compression socks and custom orthotics are covered up to 100%. Any copays, deductibles that not covered by your insurance company may be covered by secondary insurance plans or paid out of pocket and claimed as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA)
If you happen to be injured in a car accident, your Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) insurance provides coverage for Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy treatments. Dusk Physiotherapy accepts and provides direct billing to all motor vehicle insurance companies and will facilitate the coordination of claims between any private and auto insurance plan coverage. Please note, the current Ontario legislation requires that your private EHC plan be billed prior to submitting claims to your auto insurance provider.
Workplace Injuries (WSIB)
If you happen to be injured at work the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSB) provides coverage for Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy treatments. Dusk Physiotherapy accepts and provides direct billing to the WSIB.
