Physiotherapist

Decades of Care Across Hospitals and Clinics

MiriamMiriam graduated from the University of Toronto with a Physiotherapy Degree in 1994 and has been committed to patient care ever since. Before moving to Canada, she studied medicine in Europe and developed a keen interest in rehabilitation medicine—a passion that shaped her professional path. Miriam began her physiotherapy career at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, gaining valuable experience in neurology, ICU, orthopedics, and general medicine.

Since 1995, she has proudly called Brampton home and has been dedicated to helping its residents regain mobility and confidence.

I love helping people. I love to see them recover. I love to support them along their journey.”

Special Interests and Advanced Training

Over the years, Miriam has completed a wide range of post-graduate courses, including manual therapy, manual chest therapy, the full McKenzie Method (A to E), Mulligan Concepts, myofascial release, and chronic pain management. She also has a special interest in treating infants with torticollis—an area she worked on extensively during her time at Brampton Civic Hospital.

Miriam brings a wealth of knowledge to every session, blending her hospital background with private clinic experience to address musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and postural education.

Supporting Recovery With Care and Insight

Miriam is passionate about guiding patients through their recovery, helping them rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence after injury or surgery. She understands the frustration many patients face when recovery feels slow, and she works hard to offer not only therapy but also practical tools and reassurance. Whether collaborating with orthopedic surgeons, family physicians, or her colleagues at Dusk Physiotherapy, Miriam values the power of teamwork to create meaningful results for her patients.

Beyond the Clinic

When she’s not at the practice, Miriam likes to stay active through hiking and outdoor activities. She also loves cooking and baking for her family. Miriam is married and the proud mother of four daughters, ranging from high school to adulthood, including future healthcare professionals following in her footsteps.
