Dr. Terry Agayby, D.C, Acupuncture Provider

CHIROPRACTOR

_________________________________________________________

I dedicated my education to health and wellness, as I have experienced first-hand the positive changes that chiropractic care can impart on one’s life. I attended the University of Toronto to complete a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in psychology. I then continued my studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Additionally, I hold a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

I approach pain holistically, by addressing the root cause of all musculoskeletal complaints and their social, emotional, and biological implications. I have clinical experience treating individuals of all ages for both acute and chronic conditions. My vision is to help patients optimize their health and performance with individualized treatment plans so that they may excel at what they love doing most – whether it is at work, home, or in sport. I pride myself on being trilingual to be able to serve as many people as possible; I am fully fluent in French and English, and conversational in Arabic.

Clinically, I have a special interest in treating headaches, sport injuries, and tailbone pain. I use a variety of techniques including joint mobilizations, adjustments, myofascial release techniques, and rehab exercises. Because I believe that the patient should be in control of their recovery, I encourage them to participate in their care through education, ergonomic advice, and self-care strategies.
